Slender branches form a dense, upright oval to pyramidal tree. Will sicker in most situations. Long, narrow, willow-like leaves are bright green becoming rich yellow during autumn.
An upright,rounded tree with dense branching and smooth grayish-brown bark that becomes ridged as it matures. Leaves shaped like the head of a spear are shiny green changing to yellow in fall.
A broad, irregularly rounded canopy with coarse, spreadng branches. Smooth grayish-brown bark becomes deeply grooved and dark gray as it ages. Rich green leaves are a wide triangular shape changing to golden-yellow in the fall.
This cottonless Cottonwood is very similar to the ‘Siouxland’ in appearance except that it is narrower and branches mare widely. The foliage is also resistant to rust fungi. This is a rapid-growing tree—seeing 3-5 foot growth sections in one season is not uncommon in good soil.
